Colectric upgrades existing power plants with new clean energy and data centers to form a Power Couple, accelerating speed to power by:
- Using surplus interconnection to get grid access in months rather than years
- Eliminating the need for new long-lead-time gas turbines
- Avoiding costly grid upgrades by requiring no net grid power withdrawal
- Simplifying regulatory approval by avoiding cost shifts to other customers
- Aligning with utility incentives by serving load with on-site, utility-owned power
